About the Role
As an Asphalt Repair Estimator, your primary responsibility is to help customers understand their asphalt problems and provide clear, accurate pricing using our proven systems. This is not a high-pressure sales role. Most of our customers contact us first, and your job is to respond to inbound leads, diagnose common asphalt issues, explain repair options, and provide pricing using straightforward, standardized processes.
What makes this role especially appealing is the balance it offers between office work and time in the field. Much of your day will be spent in the office handling customer communication, estimates, and follow-ups, while scheduled site visits allow you to break up the day by meeting customers, walking properties, and seeing projects in real life. These visits are simple, well-defined, and focused on gathering information, not selling.

What You’ll Be Doing
Site Visits: Conduct scheduled site visits to meet with customers, walk properties, assess asphalt conditions, take measurements and photos, and gather the information needed to prepare accurate estimates. These visits are straightforward, well-defined, and focused on understanding the scope of work rather than high-pressure sales.
Assist Customers: Talk with customers who contact us about asphalt repairs and help them understand their options
Estimate Repairs: Use our simplified estimating system to provide consistent, accurate pricing
Problem Diagnosis: Identify common asphalt issues and match them with the correct repair solution
Proposal Creation: Prepare clear, easy-to-understand estimates and recommendations
CRM Tracking: Log notes, photos, and job details in our system so nothing falls through the cracks
Follow-Ups: Check back with customers who have received estimates and answer questions
Light Field Exposure: Visit job sites to better understand repairs and improve estimating accuracy
Team Coordination: Communicate job details internally once work is approved

What We’re Looking For
Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, text, and email
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow a system
Willing to learn and apply a repeatable estimating process
Basic computer skills (CRM, email, Word/Excel)
Reliable, honest, and professional
Construction knowledge is helpful but not required
Requirements
Negative drug test (including marijuana)
Class E driver’s license
Willingness to represent the company professionally
Commitment to ethical, fair pricing and honest recommendations
Pay & Benefits
Starting Base Pay: $18.00/hour plus 2% commission
Training Pay: $20.00/hour during training (commission begins once established)
Once comfortable, commission earnings commonly add the equivalent of $6–$18/hour or more, depending on performance
